Personalized System Responses
Automation and control systems are well suited to save energy and money. With personalized system responses, they also simplify your life. Off the shelf, an automation system will turn off lights when a room is unoccupied, but for truly useful automation, personal system responses must be programmed. The system can respond to the housekeeper differently than it responds to your kids, restricting access to the private office for example. The system can behave differently while you are on vacation, setting back the thermostat for example. These are all personal preferences that can be programmed so that the system responds to you in the way that you want.
